An outstanding cased pair of of 38 bore percussion cap duelling pistols by "Collins of London". 9.5 inch fine twist octagonal front and rear sighted barrels - signed along the top flat, foliate engraved case-hardened breeches, each with platinum lines and plugs. Engraved case-hardened tangs and foliage with matching hammers. Figured walnut half stocks with fine chequered butts. Blued trigger guards with pineapple finial - again engraved with foliage. Silver escutcheons and barrel wedge escutcheons, silver foresight, Horn fore-end caps and original brass mounted ramrods. London proof marks. 14.5 inch overall length and in fine original condition.
